About the Venue
As part of the Liget Project, a centre known as the National Museum Restoration and Storage Centre was established in 2019, providing state-of-the-art storage, conservation and restoration facilities for the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, the Hungarian National Gallery and the Museum of Ethnography.
At the heart of this complex — home to storage facilities, restoration workshops, diagnostic rooms and the Central European Research Institute for Art History — lies the Bródy Adél Event Space, housed in a faithfully reconstructed turn-of-the-century Jewish prayer house originally designed by Vilmos Freud.
The event venue spans more than 1,000 m² and incorporates the mature green landscape of Bókay Garden together with the Bródy Adél Event Space, which consists of several separate rooms suitable for conferences, corporate workshops and private family events.
Rich in natural light and highly flexible in its layout, the venue allows indoor and outdoor spaces as well as smaller and larger meeting and workshop rooms to be connected or separated, enabling several functions to take place simultaneously during an event.
